We are excited to announce that the Circuit Youth Night (a monthly group) was awarded a grant of £3,000 to support their work over the next 3 years!

The grant came from Methodist Youth Activities Ltd (MYA) which supports young people aged 11-25 to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. You can find out more about Methodist Youth Activities Grant on their website: myaltd.org.uk

Youth Night formed in 2021 when a group attending a Secondary school transition session expressed a desire to continue to meet. Since the launch the membership has increased and the groups vision is to create a space where young people can come, enjoy themselves, develop friendships and explore faith.

Thanks to the support from the grant the group can look forward to more outings, activities and new equipment.

Same Cree, the Circuit's Children and Youth Worker says "I am thrilled to have received this money. It will make a huge difference to what we can do with the group activities."

Youth Night runs monthly, Sunday evenings 6:30-8pm, at Ryton Methodist Church. The group is open to all young people from around the Circuit age 11-18.
