Introduction

In 1746 John Wesley visited Burnopfield and returned several times to preach.  His spiritual inspiration resulted in the formation of a Methodist Society and the building of the first Chapel in 1775.

Burnopfield Methodist Church was built in 2000 and stands on the site of the old Haswell Memorial Chapel.  We are blessed to continue the Methodist worship in the village.  We aim to provide a strong Fellowship in the worship, praise and love of our Lord.
